We found this opening the most useful because it links to the film and makes you want to watch the film.It makes it seem real by using news feeds showing havoc being caused because of the virus that is turning people into zombies.Also it helps understand the film and what happened before.
The use of blood as the credits on a black background creates an image of death.

The Making Of
For a first attempt the prelim project went well however there were problems, as there are only two of us filming as well as acting it's not easy. The 180 degree shot is easy to do but harder to edit in Final Cut. Match-on-action for the door opening and cutting to the inside of the room is easy to edit and now, we know how to use it well.
